Timber Wine Rack - Small

115.00

A unique way to display those every day consumable wines, a wine rack made from charred cedar timbers. Freestanding on it's own 4x4 stature. Charred only on the outside, the contrasting natural colour of cedar is displayed by the shelves.

Charred via a method called Shou Sugi Ban. Yakisugi (焼杉) is a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation. Yaki means to heat with fire, and sugi is cypress. It is referred to in the West as Shō Sugi Ban (焼杉板)

This wine rack features three "shelves" cut out to hold 3 standard 750ml wine bottles. An oil and then clear finish accents that natural woodgrain of this charred cedar. This 3 bottle stand will fit under the standard height between the countertop and upper kitchen cabinets (which is 18") making it easily placable in any kitchen.

The wine rack you see in these photos is the exact wine rack you will receive.

DIMENSIONS: 4" W x 4" L x 17" T and Approximatley 2.2lbs or 1.0kg.
